Mindfulness is simply an act of being able to perform cognitive behavior, such as living in the moment and knowing what you’re doing, when you’re doing it and how you do it. Every little detail is closely paid attention to so that you can learn how you want to effectively respond, learn and grow from the powerful technique.
When you become more and more mindful, you learn more about yourself. It is a skill that needs to be crafted by the person applying it to their current lifestyle.
In the Detox Your Life program you will be able to master mindful living as the days and months go by.
These lessons are designed to guide you on a path of purpose, meaning and understanding.

Mindfulness Explained
Each day you will start being mindful from the moment you wake up to the moment you go to sleep. In every task you do, mindfulness will be included:
- What you eat and how you eat it
- Preparing clothes for laundry
- Tidying up the living area (pay attention to where you are placing things, how you’re folding blankets, opening the blinds, putting things away
- Think about how you are applying your shampoo in the shower, slow down and pay attention to how you lather the soap
- Clearing the clutter from the countertops
- Taking the trash out
- Getting dressed, picking out an outfit
- Filling a glass of water, drinking it mindfully
- How you’re driving, slow down and remind yourself to embrace being patient, kind on the road

Mindfulness can be expressed through touch, tone of voice, the way you walk into a room, how you engage in conversation.
Being mindful means you intentionally want to act some type of way in order to pursue a life more meaningful.
Moments are being valued.
Experiences are being embraced.
Life is genuinely happening in a purposeful way.
